PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. BY REGISTERING FOR, PURCHASING A TICKET TO, ENTERING, OR PARTICIPATING IN A CIVILIZEDX EVENT, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS AND ANY APPLICABLE POLICIES OF THE EVENT VENUE.

1. Events Covered

These Terms apply to events and experiences produced, presented, or managed by CivilizedX and/or Millennial Maven Creative Foundation ("CivilizedX"), including Civilized Fest, Seat at the Table, CivilizedXperiences, CivilizedXhibits, CivilizedX Pop-Up Podcast experiences, Let's Taco 'Bout It, workshops, performances, civic conversations, community activations, wellness activities, and other CivilizedX experiences.

Individual events may include additional event-specific terms or requirements.

2. Admission & Conduct

CivilizedX is committed to creating welcoming, respectful, and safe experiences. CivilizedX and its venue partners reserve the right to refuse admission or remove anyone whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, threatening, unlawful, or substantially interferes with the experience of others.

Removal for violation of event or venue policies does not entitle the attendee to a refund.

3. Assumption of Risk & Liability

Participation in live events carries inherent risks. By attending, participants voluntarily assume the ordinary risks associated with attendance and participation, including crowds, performances, food and beverage service, physical or wellness activities, venue conditions, and interactions with others.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CivilizedX, Millennial Maven Creative Foundation, and their officers, employees, contractors, volunteers, partners, sponsors, and affiliates are released from claims arising from ordinary risks associated with participation, except where liability cannot legally be waived.

CivilizedX is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

4. Food & Beverage

Some CivilizedX experiences include food, tastings, or beverages prepared by chefs, culinary students, caterers, vendors, venues, or other third parties.

Attendees are responsible for disclosing known food allergies or dietary restrictions when requested. While reasonable efforts may be made to accommodate dietary needs, CivilizedX cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment or that food has not come into contact with allergens.

Menus, ingredients, chefs, courses, and beverage offerings may change based on availability or operational needs.

5. Health, Safety & Accessibility

Attendance is subject to applicable CivilizedX, venue, and governmental health and safety requirements.

CivilizedX strives to provide accessible and welcoming experiences. Guests requiring reasonable accommodations are encouraged to contact CivilizedX in advance so available accommodations can be coordinated with the venue and production team.

6. Tickets, Refunds & Event Changes

Unless otherwise stated during registration or checkout, ticket purchases are final.

CivilizedX reserves the right to modify programming, schedules, artists, speakers, chefs, activities, format, capacity, or venue when reasonably necessary.

If an event is cancelled, postponed, relocated, or materially changed, CivilizedX will communicate any applicable ticket transfer, credit, or refund options to registered attendees.

7. Photography, Video & Media

CivilizedX events may be photographed, filmed, livestreamed, or otherwise recorded. By attending, participants acknowledge that their image, voice, or likeness may appear incidentally in event documentation and may be used by CivilizedX for promotional, editorial, educational, archival, fundraising, or marketing purposes without additional compensation, to the extent permitted by law.

Professional or commercial recording, livestreaming, or substantial reproduction of CivilizedX programming requires prior permission.

8. Programming, Speakers & Partners

CivilizedX experiences may include civic education, artistic expression, community dialogue, social commentary, resource sharing, and discussion of public issues.

Views expressed by speakers, artists, panelists, vendors, sponsors, partners, or attendees are their own and do not necessarily represent CivilizedX.

Information shared through CivilizedX programming is provided for educational and informational purposes. CivilizedX does not guarantee any particular personal, professional, financial, educational, civic, or other outcome from participation.

9. Personal Information

Information submitted through registration, ticket purchase, surveys, or event participation may be processed in accordance with CivilizedX's Privacy Policy and applicable law.

CivilizedX will not share attendee contact information with participating organizations for their independent marketing purposes unless the attendee has consented or applicable law otherwise permits it.

10. Minors

Certain CivilizedX events are family-friendly. Unless otherwise stated, minors must attend with or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian. Specific programs may establish additional age requirements.

11. Force Majeure

CivilizedX is not responsible for delays, modifications, postponements, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, public emergencies, governmental actions, public health emergencies, utility or technology failures, civil disturbances, venue closures, or similar circumstances.

12. Governing Law & Updates

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

CivilizedX may update these Terms as its programming evolves. Updated Terms become effective when published on the CivilizedX website and will apply prospectively to applicable registrations and participation.
